
International Development Policy Case Competition
The International Development Policy Case Competition is McGill’s first interdisciplinary policy-building case competition that focuses on development issues. Students from all faculties are welcome to join and work together in an effort to solve each year’s policy issue. We also welcome students’ from other universities to try out! This year-long event combines case analysis with policy writing, challenging participants to design innovative policy solutions to international development issues.
IDPCC 2025
For it’s seventh edition, the competition centred its theme around issues of Global Healthcare Mobility and expanding rural access to Healthcare and Medical Services.
IDPCC 2024
For its sixth edition, the IDPCC competition focused on themes of Gender and Agriculture and expanding access to Agricultural Technologies for Rural Women.
IDPCC 2023
For its fifth edition, the theme focused on Reproductive and Sexual Rights in Rural Colombia
IDPCC 2019
For its third edition, the theme focused on Climate, Sustainability & Environment in emerging economies.
IDPCC 2018
For it’s second edition, the theme centred itself around resolving issues of Food Insecurity in Nigeria through policy development.
